A love story

January 10, 2021

Six years ago I married Raymond Phillips, 90, to Mimi Henley, 88. They had been high school sweethearts in Marshall, Texas more than 70 years earlier. Having lost their spouses after long and successful marriages, they decided to tie the knot once again. They went on to enjoy good health and great happiness together. Raymond died on Christmas Day (to the singing of the angels) and Mimi died early New Year’s Day (to the sound of fireworks).
